Mindy Zatta
Private Wealth Advisor | CFP®, BFA, CRPC®, MBA
My Role:
Mindy is a Private Wealth Advisor with over 20 years of experience helping her clients navigate the complexities of their financial lives, serving as their trusted advocate and knowledgeable resource. She knows the importance of not only understanding the numbers but also navigating the emotions that inevitably come with our financial lives. Each is equally important in building a wholistic and comprehensive financial plan that provides a sense of security and a comfortable life. Mindy’s goal is to support her clients in discovering their financial goals, planning for the future, and what matters most to them.
Work History:
Mindy has devoted her entire career to the financial services industry and her work to better her clients’ lives. This has allowed her to amass vast experience that uniquely positions Mindy to help clients. Before joining IronBridge Wealth Counsel, Mindy served as a financial advisor helping to build a successful advisory practice at a national financial services firm. Mindy’s commitment and service to her clients are the guiding principles that drive her business and every decision she makes. While at her former Broker Dealer, Mindy was a member of The Resource Group, an invitation-only nationwide network of the top 200 planners. Additionally, Mindy was a member of the WISE group, a special group of women inspiring, supporting, and educating other female colleagues, clients, and future advisors pursuing knowledge and services in the financial planning industry.
Where I Come From:
Mindy was born and raised in Washington, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in the Boro of East Washington with her husband, Jeremy, and little fur babies. She is an avid runner, loves her Peloton and training at the gym, and is committed to focusing on and improving her health. Mindy’s family means everything to her. Her home serves as “Grand Central Station” and the hub for their family get-togethers, where she adores her beloved nieces and nephews. Mindy’s connection to her community and the people within it is strong, as her local roots run deep.
Education:
After completing her Masters of Business Administration at Waynesburg University, she earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation and her Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. Most recently, Mindy earned her Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA) designation. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Women’s Studies from Denison University. Mindy has always considered herself a lifelong learner. She continues to attend meaningful and insightful conferences and events so that she may acquire impactful ideas and knowledge that can help her clients and improve their lives.
My WHY?
While a year-long college senior research project and internship first introduced Mindy to the financial services industry, it was a personal experience that compelled her to learn more and build a career in helping people. Growing up, she watched her mother struggle financially and make sacrifices that she may not have made if her mother had the knowledge and tools to become financially independent. This experience not only inspired Mindy to educate herself financially; it was and is the driving force behind her deep desire and commitment to educate and make a meaningful impact on the lives of her clients.
Community Engagement:
Mindy is deeply involved in her community and fully believes in the importance of giving back. Her involvement and work in the community have given her so much joy. She’s honored to serve on the Washington Health System Foundation Board, where she is the current Investment Committee Chair, the Washington County Hospital Authority, the Washington Area Humane Society Board, and Waynesburg University’s Business Advisory Board. Her volunteer efforts with charitable organizations are numerous and include the American Cancer Society, RELAY for Life, Make-A-Wish foundation, and Dress for Success.
In recognition of Mindy’s service to the community and dedication to her profession, she has been honored as a finalist of Washington County’s prestigious Athena Award. This award is presented to those who have achieved a high degree of professional excellence, advanced and empowered women in their professional and leadership development and whose efforts have made a significant impact on the Washington County community.
