Our History and Values

The Forging of IronBridge

IronBridge began with an idea in 2004, and has expanded rapidly since the original founding members joined. In that time, we have not only grown in number of team members but in knowledge and experience of various planning strategies and niche client needs. IronBridge team members view ourselves as stronger together, with the sum of the whole being greater than the sum of the individual parts. This team attitude helps us to best serve as professional advocates for our clients and act as champions for the financial well-being of those we serve.

Behind the Name

The historic Ironbridge, erected in 1779 in Shropshire, England, was the first of its kind - a major bridge constructed entirely out of cast iron. It is viewed as a symbol of the impact of The Industrial Revolution on our modern world. It has attracted artists and writers worldwide who have marveled at its bold design and the prolific meeting of natural artistic beauty and industrial construction. It has inspired the future of bridge design and engineering as well as influenced the field of technology and architecture.

IronBridge Wealth Counsel draws inspiration from the historic Ironbridge, embracing the boldness and ingenuity of its form as guiding principles for our leadership team. Just as the original Ironbridge fused styles from carpentry and iron work, our commitment is to forge new ways of thinking in the industry. We blend a foundation of proven financial principles with creative and ever-evolving solutions for our clients. Our refusal to settle for the status quo and our commitment to expanding our services to meet the growing needs of our clients make Ironbridge an exciting place to work for those who share our innovative and curious spirit.

Mission and Guiding Values

Our mission at IronBridge Wealth Counsel is to create a positive multigenerational impact on our colleagues, clients, and communities. Everything we do - the planning and advice work, as well as our people  are guided by a desire to always be these three core characteristics:

Ethical

Being ethical is the foundation of our relationship with clients, and we understand that trust is hard to earn and easy to lose.

Our commitment to ethical practices means we always act in our client's best interests, providing unbiased advice and comprehensive solutions built to fit their unique needs and goals.

Intellectually Curious

Just as the Ironbridge opened the way for new possibilities in its time, our dedication to intellectual curiosity enables us to build bridges to more secure and prosperous financial futures for those we serve.

This culture of curiosity leads our team to ask questions, seek out new perspectives, and challenge conventional wisdom, ensuring we provide our clients the most informed, practical advice.

Benevolent

Benevolence is about kindness, empathy, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the lives of others.

Our team goes beyond the technical and analytical aspects of financial planning to truly understand our clients' dreams, fears, and aspirations.

This ensures that our financial solutions meet their needs and support their overall well-being.
