My Role:
Kristina English is a Private Wealth Advisor with IronBridge Wealth Counsel and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Work History:
Kristina began her career as a financial analyst in the home health sector. Seeking a role with greater human interaction and purpose, she transitioned into insurance brokerage before entering the securities industry in 2004 with Prudential Financial in Louisville, Kentucky, moving to their New Albany, Indiana office in October 2005. This practice later became Martin Financial Group, where she established herself as a self-employed wealth advisor.
In September 2016, Kristina joined Riverbend Financial Group, continuing her focus on relationship-based advising. As of January 2026, following the merger of Riverbend Financial Group and Ironbridge Wealth Counsel, she continues to provide comprehensive wealth advisory services as part of the expanded firm.
Where I Come From:
A country girl at heart, Kristina spent most of her early childhood on a farm in Crawford County, Indiana. When she was nine years old, her mother remarried and took her across the Ohio River to another farm in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. As an adult, she and her husband John, both proud children of Army veterans, chose to plant their own roots in Jeffersonville, Indiana, where they raised their two sons. Kristina now enjoys cooking, staying active, and is embracing her favorite new role as “Mimi” to her grandchildren.
Education:
Kristina completed a Master of Science in health care administration and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Western Kentucky University. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in April 2019. She has a Series 7, 65, and 66 securities licenses, along with her life, health, and annuity insurance licenses in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Illinois, and Missouri.
My Why:
Kristina believes in relationship-based financial advising and works personally with her clients to help them achieve their unique financial goals and dreams. She assists her clients in developing financial plans and implementing recommendations in areas of wealth management, retirement and investment planning, risk management, along with estate and tax planning. Kristina also helps her clients with insurance planning for Medicare, life, disability, long-term care, and health insurance, both on and off the exchange.
Community Engagement:

She volunteered with Leadership Southern Indiana for several years serving as the committee chair for the NEXGEN program, while also serving as a member of the Leadership Southern Indiana Advisory Board.
