Josh Lindland

Private Wealth Advisor | CFA®

My Role:

Josh’s role as a Private Wealth Advisor at IronBridge is to help people use their wealth to protect their desired lifestyle in retirement and preserve the financial legacy they choose to leave to their family and community.

Work History:

Josh joined IronBridge in 2023.  He began his career in institutional investment consulting at BARRA RogersCasey focused on complex asset-liability studies, plan design, asset class research, and manager selection.  He moved to Franklin Templeton and later Victory Capital where he was a global equity portfolio manager until 2019.  During this time, he helped build and implement firm-wide best practices in quantitative and qualitative risk management.  In recent years he has done financial consulting for private companies and start-ups focused on fundraising and operational financial management.

Where I Come From:

Josh was born in Nyack, New York, but moved around the country with his family until settling near Hartford, CT for high school.  He left again to spend his junior year in high school in Argentina on a Rotary Club exchange program.  He attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and later went to Columbia Business School for his MBA.  He has lived in Brooklyn and worked in New York City since 2000 where he and his wife Alison are raising two daughters, ages 10 and 11.

Education:

Josh has a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, an MBA from Columbia University, and a B.A. in International Studies (Business & Economics track) from Muhlenberg College.

My WHY:

Josh came to realize the impact of economic systems and financial planning after his time in Argentina.  He arrived shortly after a debilitating period of inflation and saw the social and psychological impact of economic instability on families and communities.  Recognizing the fundamental importance of long-term financial planning led him to the study of economics, capital markets, and eventually investment consulting and fund management.  Working with individuals, families, and small businesses provides a way of bringing a diverse range of experience to a broader audience and making a direct and tangible impact on the lives of his clients.

Community Engagement:

Josh has been involved in numerous committees for Muhlenberg College over many years including the President’s Advisory Council, leading a capital campaign committee, and as class fund chair.  He is Chairman Emeritus of Fractured Atlas, an arts services organization he served on the board of for over a decade.
