Jim's Role:
Jim serves as Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor at IronBridge Wealth Counsel, where he focuses on working with business owners and senior executives in the ultra-high-net-worth market. He specializes in wealth distribution planning and risk management strategies. In addition to these roles, Jim also acts as the firm's Director of Advisory.

Work History:
With over 25 years of experience, Jim is widely regarded as a leader in the Wealth Advisory industry. Before joining IronBridge, Jim founded D4D Strategic Consulting Group. Until 2012, he held the position of Managing Principal at Sagemark Consulting’s New England Regional Production Office. Jim is a past Chairman and Lifetime Member of The Resource Group, an exclusive, invitation-only network of the top 200 financial planners nationwide. He is also a sought-after speaker at industry conferences and events.

Background:
Raised in Canton, CT, from humble beginnings, Jim’s life experiences have shaped his approach to advising. His keynote presentation, "Donuts for Dinner," is based on these formative experiences and life lessons. He currently resides in Windsor, CT, and Nokomis, FL, with his wife, Kathleen.

Education and Professional Credentials:
Jim holds an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.A. in Finance from Bryant College. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and was an original Director of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC) first virtual chapter. Jim is also a Certified Ethics Instructor by the CFP Board of Standards, Inc., and has testified as an expert witness on ethical behavior for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Purpose and Philosophy ("My WHY"):
Jim believes his unique abilities allow him to make meaningful, positive changes in the world, one family at a time. He views this work as both his calling and duty.

Community Engagement:
Jim is actively involved in his community and has served as Chairman of the Town of Windsor’s Economic Development Commission, the Windsor Historical Society, and FirstTown Downtown. He has also held leadership roles in Windsor International Little League and has been a travel softball coach for the CT Mirage and CT Tigers organizations. Additionally, Jim hosted his own financial planning television show, “Wealth Matters,” which featured interviews with prominent leaders in the insurance, legal, and investment industries. In 2015, he was inducted into Canton High School’s Wall of Fame for his outstanding leadership, scholarship, and civic contributions.
