My Role:
Erik is a Private Wealth Advisor with over 25 years of experience helping clients accumulate and manage different aspects of client’s wealth, plan for retirement, and accomplish their financial goals. Erik works with small business owners and successful individuals to help them identify their priorities and goals and to build a tailored plan designed specifically for their success.
Work History:
Erik began his wealth management practice in 2000 with Sagemark Consulting. Prior to that he managed a marketing team of 75 people and increased the company’s revenue each year during his employment.
Where I Come From:
Erik was raised in East Granby, CT and currently lives in Bloomfield, CT with his wife Barabara.
Education:
Erik earned a B.S. in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University, was inducted into two Honor Societies, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He worked full time during his college years and once he graduated began his career in the financial services industry.
My Why:
Erik has always had a desire to help people. When it was suggested to him that he should investigate the financial services industry, he realized he could play a significant role in helping people achieve their financial goals by providing honest and timely advice and creating strong relationships that are long-lasting. He was raised with integrity and honesty and that is the only way he conducts his business. Helping others achieve their goals knowing he was instrumental in doing so, Erik gets a sense of fulfillment and takes deep pride in what he does.
Community Engagement:
Since 2014, Erik has been a member of the Porsche Club of America with his home track being at Lime Rock Park. Every year he volunteers for the club race in which he acts as the communicator in the pace car. Erik and his wife also donate and help at a dog rescue organization in Torrington, CT. They are both avid dog lovers, and they’ve rescued all the dogs they’ve owned.
