David Gossling
Partner & Private Wealth Advisor
My Role:
David sees Financial Planning more as a passion than a business. For more than 20 years, he has provided strategic estate, business owner and investment planning to individuals throughout the nation.
Work History:
Prior to joining IronBridge in 2016, David’s career included a solo financial advisory firm serving a select group of clients.
Where I Come From:
I was born, raised and married in Spokane, WA where I spent the first 28 years of my life. In 1991, we moved our family to Mesa, AZ, where we spent the next 28 years building a financial services business and raising a family. In 2019, our family decided to establish our primary residence in a small mountain community in northern Utah, called Mountain Green, to more fully enjoy the outdoors and quality time with my family. Currently, I divide my time between our offices in Arizona and Utah.
My WHY:
I am the youngest of six children and was raised in a household in which my business owner father suffered a debilitating illness at an early age. As a young child, I watched him go from a very active man to the confinement of a wheelchair and shortly thereafter a nursing home. My mother was left to raise the kids, assume financial responsibilities and instill a work ethic in her children. In my mid 20’s, my father passed away because of his illness. It was at this time, I was able to see the fruits of the planning he did early in his life. Shortly after his passing, I entered the financial services industry with a desire to help others financially secure their now and their future.
Community Engagement:
David has volunteered as a director for the National Advocacy and Training Network which seeks to support, educate and empower women that have been victims of abuse. Additionally, David serves as mentor and leader to young men for the past 25 years. He and his family feel a strong need to give back to the community through time and resources within the homeless community.
