My Role:
Daniel’s role as a Private Wealth Advisor is to help families achieve their financial and life goals thru wise financial stewardship. He specializes in working with families who want to use their wealth to give back and positively impact their family, community and world.
Work History:
Daniel’s worked as a financial advisor for over 20 years. He worked with VALIC Financial Advisors for over 13 years and left in 2018 to start his own financial planning practice with Lincoln Financial Advisors. He partnered with IronBridge Wealth Counsel in 2025.
Where I Come From:
Daniel grew up in Kenai, Alaska and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1999 to attend the University of Alaska Anchorage. Anchorage has been home since 1999 where he enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Kristie, and two children, Jude and Rylee.
Education:
Daniel graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2004 with a Bachelor’s in Arts of Economics and Political Science. In 2015, he earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation, and since then, he’s also earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation to assist business owners with exiting their business.
My Why:
Daniel’s passionate about and cares about people. People matter. His role as a financial planner allows him the opportunity to serve people and help them make informed financial decisions. These decisions better position his clients and their families for long-term success in life as they define success.
Also, Daniel’s a lifelong learner and feels fortunate to have a career that allows him to continue learning and help families pursue and achieve their long-term goals.
Community Engagement:
Daniel’s actively involved in his church and enjoys supporting various non-profits including the Christopher Walden House of Hope.
