My Role
Anna serves as the Director of Financial Planning, where she oversees IronBridge’s Financial Planning department and works closely with IronBridge’s paraplanners to bring technical expertise and support to IronBridge’s advisors and clients.
Work History
Anna joined IronBridge in October 2025. She brings a decade of experience in financial services, beginning her career as an advisor before transitioning into strategic roles aimed at making financial planning a cornerstone of the client experience.
Where I Come From
Born and raised in Shelbyville, Kentucky, Anna attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington before settling in Louisville with her husband, Alex, and their dog, Woody.
Education
Anna earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, the Chartered Financial Consultant designation, and the Behavioral Financial Advisor designation. Additionally, she is registered with Series 7, 66, and 63 licenses.
My Why
Growing up, Anna witnessed her mother navigating two life-altering events—divorce and the untimely passing of her stepfather. Both situations could have been mitigated with basic financial planning, sparing her family significant financial stress and emotional strain. Coming from a household that rarely discussed finances, Anna was introduced to financial planning in college and quickly recognized it as a career path that aligned with her life experiences and passion for helping others.
Community Engagement
Anna serves as a mentor for the FinServ Foundation, an organization dedicated to removing barriers for individuals seeking to enter the financial services industry. Her family also participates annually in various local charitable initiatives.
