My Role:
I am the Financial Planning Assistant to Mindy Zatta. In this role, I support the day-to-day operations and help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I work closely with Mindy to support clients in reaching their financial goals and staying on track with their plans. I'm dedicated to creating a positive and seamless experience for every client interaction.
Work History:
I have worked in the financial advising industry since graduating from college in 2022. My role at my last firm was Operations Manager, which duties included handling administrative tasks, onboarding new clients to our planning systems, and assisting with the financial planning process.
Where I Come From:
I was born and raised just 20 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh. I currently reside in Washington, PA.
Education:
I attained my bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in both Finance and Economics. I earned my Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®) in 2023. I am currently studying to attain my Certified Financial Planner designation.
My Why:
Growing up, my father was a blue-collar worker who worked extremely long hours for weeks on end to provide for our family. I knew growing up that I wanted to help people like him manage their finances to put their hard-working dollars to good use. My stepmother is a financial planner, and I was able to shadow her and during that time of watching her work, I knew that this field was meant for me. Work ethic and doing the right thing for those around me are woven into my core.
Community Engagement:
I enjoy volunteering at my family's local church during the holidays to prepare meals that are sent out to elderly people. I look forward to assisting the IronBridge Community Foundation.
